The Giant TCR Advanced disc 1 is a lightweight carbon road bike, excellent for climbing and its unique steering behavior lets you glide through every bend and then quickly bring the bike back up to cruising speed.The Giant TCR is designed from Giant's compact road geometry with a sloping top tube, this gives the frame a lower center of gravity, the top tube and seat tube are shorter and therefore stronger and because of this the seat post protrudes more, giving the seat post more flexibility and thus more comfort can offer.The TCR's Megadrive down tube is the heart of the frame and provides a stable and rigid base, this specifically designed down tube connects the front from the head tube to the rear and connects widely to the bottom bracket to give it even more stiffness.The solid Powercore bottom bracket has been developed for press fit integrated bottom bracket bearings so that the bottom bracket is as wide as possible and therefore gives maximum rigidity.The Overdrive headset design has a 1.25 inch diameter and a 1.125 inch diameter at the top for extra stable and sharp steering.
